About Miriam Weinberg
I am a clinical psychologist who offers Telehealth therapy specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, treating a wide range and variety of issues ranging from generalized anxiety to relationship difficulties. There are two principals that guide all my therapeutic work: (1) establishing a therapeutic relationship that is non-judgmental and collaborative, and (2) providing individuals with a treatment that is optimal for them while still being based in empirical literature.
Individuals are a product of biological predispositions, relationships, behaviors, heritage, culture, and systemic societal influences. As a psychologist, I have made it a constant goal to have a better understanding of the complex nature of my patients and their surroundings, so that I can help them through the prism of collaboration. Every individual has certain strengths depending on the context and standards that are set, and through therapy, I hope to slow down time and help patients build upon their strengths, continuously enhancing their multifaceted narrative that is life.
